2005

Swap Logistics (formerly known as Brightstar Distribution Sdn Bhd) was incorporated under the name
of Winning Mobile Sdn Bhd. - Winning Mobile Sdn Bhd was involved in the distribution of mobile phones in Malaysia.
2006
- Likewize Singapore Pte Ltd (formerly known as Brightstar Logistics Pte Ltd), and Swap Holdings became shareholders of Winning Mobile Sdn Bhd.
- Started the distribution of Motorola brand of mobile phones.
2007
- Under Brightstar Distribution Sdn Bhd, a pilot run was carried out for the provision of logistics services for the supply of mobile phones and other electronic devices to Customer A Group based in Malaysia.
2009
- Started the distribution of Samsung brand of mobile phones.
2010
- Moved to our current operational facility and head office at Wisma Kemajuan in Petaling Jaya, Selangor Darul Ehsan.
- Started the distribution of HTC brand of mobile phones.
2011
- Started the distribution of Blackberry brand of mobile phones.
2013
- Expansion of services to provide value-added services incorporating supply chain optimisation.
- Commenced distribution of electronic devices for LG brand in Malaysia.
- Swap Device was incorporated under the name of Brightstar Supply Chain Services Sdn Bhd and commenced the provision of supply chain value-added services in Malaysia.
2014
- Commenced distribution of electronic devices for Apple brand in Malaysia.
2017
- Swap Captive was incorporated under the name of Brightstar (L) Re Ltd, a wholly owned subsidiary of Brightstar Supply Chain Services Sdn Bhd, and commenced the provision of captive insurance services to support our device protection and support services as part of our supply chain value-added services.
2021
- Acquired back 51% ownership of Brightstar Malaysia from Brightstar Logistics (Singapore), transforming Brightstar Malaysia into a wholly Malaysian-owned entity.
- Rebranded as Swap Logistics Distribution & Swap Device Solutions
- Secured distribution rights for Harman Kardon and Infinity products.
2022
- Incorporated Swap Solutions Pte Ltd in Singapore & Taiwan and Swap Asia Group Sdn Bhd.
- Expanded distribution to include Samsung, Zens, and Xgimi products.
- Secured distribution rights for Harman Kardon in Taiwan.
- Introduced a Trade-In Service for M1 Singapore.
2023
- Established 施沃普商贸（广州）有限公司 (Swap Trading (Guangzhou) Co., Ltd.) in China.
- Introduced Swap Protect in collaboration with Touch ‘n Go.
- Expanded distribution to include dbramante1928 products in Singapore.
2024
- Secured Asia distribution rights for Clicks.
- Acquired global licensing rights for Fender Audio.
2025
- Expanded Devices Protection services with GoInsuran partnership.
- Launched Trade-In Services integration into Touch ‘n Go eWallet.
