Swap Asia cares for the community, and as part of our continued effort to do what is right to make this place we call earth a better place to live, we visited Siloam House in Karak, Pahang, to help the home by bringing in an Agricultural Consultant to advice and help with managing the farm as well as getting Swap Family to harvest their calamansi and selling it to convert from farm to cash to support the running of this home. Siloam House assists people with intellectual disabilities to find their permanent home where they can have a quality of life that encompasses companionship, the feeling of belongingness, self-acceptance, meaningful activities, and work.
